A standard NimbleBrain engagement runs 4-6 weeks. Here’s what happens, and what your team does at each stage.

Begins creating Business-as-Code artifacts: JSON schemas for your business entities, structured skill definitions for domain expertise, context files for organizational knowledge.

Your team: Shares domain knowledge. Walks us through the systems, the exceptions, the tribal knowledge that lives in senior people’s heads. Provides access to the tools and data the agent system will connect to.

Delivered by end of week 1: Entity schemas for the target domain. Initial skill definitions for the most common operations. Architecture decision records documenting the system design. All committed to your repository.

Week 2: Skill Authoring and MCP Server Connection

NimbleBrain team: Writes production skills, the natural-language instructions that tell agents how to execute domain-specific operations. Builds or configures MCP server connections to your existing systems (CRM, ERP, databases, communication tools, internal APIs). Begins integration between the agent system and your live data.

Your team: Reviews skills for accuracy. Domain experts verify that the encoded logic matches reality: the approval thresholds, the escalation paths, the exception handling. Participates in code reviews for MCP server implementations.

Delivered by end of week 2: Production-ready skills covering the target operations. MCP server connections to relevant systems. Initial agent execution against real data (supervised, not autonomous).

Week 3: Integration, Governance, and Production Hardening

NimbleBrain team: Runs end-to-end integration testing. Builds governance controls: what the agent can and can’t do autonomously, when it must escalate, what audit trails are required. Implements monitoring and alerting. Handles edge cases and error recovery.

Your team: Participates in integration testing. Validates agent behavior against real scenarios. Defines governance boundaries based on your organization’s risk tolerance. Reviews monitoring dashboards.

Delivered by end of week 3: Fully integrated agent system with governance controls. Monitoring and alerting configured. Error handling for known edge cases. Governance documentation.

Week 4: Deployment, Documentation, and Handoff Verification

NimbleBrain team: Deploys to production. Runs the system under live conditions with monitoring. Documents everything, not as a final dump, but as a verification that the documentation built throughout the engagement is complete and accurate. Conducts handoff verification: your team operates the system while we observe.

Your team: Operates the system with NimbleBrain available for questions. Runs through operational scenarios independently. Identifies any gaps in documentation or training. Confirms they can modify skills, update schemas, and troubleshoot issues without external help.

Delivered by end of week 4: Production system running live. Complete Business-as-Code documentation. Operations runbook. Independence verification: your team demonstrated they can own and evolve the system on their own.
